MERYLLEE EDSON, CEO
Meryllee started Emblu as a means of building her enthusiasm for finance and efficiency into tangible improvements for her customers and thoroughly enjoys working hand-in-hand with them to create infrastructures which can accommodate their rapid growth. Her background is concentrated in the technology and government contracting industries, beginning at Capitol Hill, contracting for the US Capitol Police, which included overhauling the budgetary processes for its Office of Information Systems. Later, as Finance Director at VariQ, and then Alpha Omega Integration, she administered the financial performance of multi-million-dollar IT portfolios, while managing Finance, Contracts and Pricing operations. She has led multiple modernization efforts focused on financial systems optimization.
She is a licensed CPA in Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
